What is "Web 2.0?"

I wouldn't have a clue as to what Web 2.0 is, but I'll try to answer these questions using info on the net.

1. List all the ways you can think of that you can publish stuff on the Internet.
You could use a blog, bebo, whatever and write stuff in that. You could also make a web page.
2. Find a definition of Web 2 that makes sense to you and say where it came from.
The term "Web 2.0" refers to a perceived second generation of web development and design, that aims to facilitate communication, secure information sharing, interoperability, and collaboration on the World Wide Web. Web 2.0 concepts have led to the development and evolution of web-based communities, hosted services, and applications; such as social-networking sites, video-sharing sites, wikis, blogs, and folksonomies.

3. Give some examples of Web 2, and explain the purpose of each one.
Social-networking sites, so people can talk with one another. Video-sharing sites, so people can show others the movies that they make.
4. Who writes wikipedia? Do you think you can trust it? Why/why not?
The Public write Wikipedia. I don't think we can totally trust it, but I'm sure the people who write in it are sure of their answers, so I use it anyway.
5. What is a wiki?
Wiki is a piece of server software that allows users to freely create and edit Web page content using any Web browser.

6. How are blogs and wikis the same? How are they different?
Wikis give you information, while Blogs give you voice, but they are both very similiar in that they have restrictions as to what you can do with them. You cannot edit them to do different things, for example, if I wanted to have moving digital cats on my profile I couldn't because Wiki and Blogs don't do that.
7. What is Flicker useful for?
Flicker is useful for image editing. It can customise the image that you want to be changed.
